The UNHATE Foundation supports the work of the United Nations for the promotion of human rights and of the Millennium Development Goals, through partnerships aimed at implementing the principles of the Foundation in a framework of mutual growth with the UN.

UN Women is the UN organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. A global champion for women and girls, UN Women was established to accelerate progress on meeting their needs worldwide. UN Women, among other issues, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls, for the empowerment of women and for the achievement of equality between women and men.

The project “Sing YES to a City Free of Violence Against Women and Girls”, in Kigali, is part of the UN Women global initiative “Safe Cities Free of Violence Against Women and Girls”, which aims to fight violence on young women in five cities across the globe.

UNHATE Foundation also supports the Secretary-General’s UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign “Orange Day”.


The United Nations Department of Public Information is dedicated to communicating the ideals and work of the United Nations to the world, to interacting and partnering with diverse audiences, and to building support for peace, development and human rights for all.

UNDPI collaborates with UNHATE Foundation within the UNHATE News campaign, a powerful and thought provoking digital initiative.


The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner
of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is dedicated to lead and coordinate international action to protect and support refugees, to ensure that everyone can exercise the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another State, with the option to return home voluntarily, integrate locally or to resettle in a third country. It also has a mandate to help stateless people.



UNHATE Foundation is an Associate member of the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CoNGO)

CoNGO members are invited to be active in the 43 CoNGO NGO Substantive Ccommittees in New York, Geneva and Vienna, that work on and promote issues and topics related to the UN agenda.

CONGO aims to be the main support for a civil society represented by a global community of informed, empowered and committed NGOs that fully participate with the UN in decision-making and programs, leading to a better world.
